This room was perfect! A lot bigger than it looked in the pictures, and the fact that we were able to have our dog stay with us was amazing! It's so hard to find pet friendly accommodation. There was even pet treats on the counter for our arrival. This will be our go to spot when in Auckland now!

Prime LOCATION

Prime LOCATION for getting to and from places, especially if you’re wanting to visit the city! Right next to train station, it was so quiet! Could barely hear a thing! Also I’m sure it was close to a dairy, so you could easily walk to the dairy and back without having to take your car through the traffic. Really nice to have a secured place for your car and belongings! Really big and spacious rooms, even the bathroom, toilet and kitchen too! Really helpful staff!

Really liked the atmosphere. Art work at reception was amazing as used local artists. The staff were amazing and friendly and very accommodating as late notice we asked if we could check in early. The room itself was very spacious and very comfortable to be in even just to chill. Really liked how they told us a little about what they do with supporting their community and community business. Would definitely come back to Roomie if I visit Auckland again. Words cannot express how amazing roomie was for us.

we were in a 2 bedroom apartment with one being an ensuite & it was absolutely perfect for the 4 of us!! The entire setting was very spacious & it catered so much more to our needs! :) The carpark is very secure & huge! Love the artwork on the walls! very unique. Sunny warm room

A great unique space with everything you need for a comfy home away from home experience. Plenty of secure parking. Awesome room and loved the set up. Plenty of space and comfy bed. Sunny warm room with everything you need. The kitchen was a bonus and came with all amenities. The shower is awesome and the space felt homely with great colour scheme and personal touches.

This is an excellent apartment hotel, spacious, modern, comfortable, with secure parking, all at a reasonable price, compared to CBD accomodation choices, but still not too far from the central city. The kitchen is great, especially having a full size fridge/freezer. The bathroom is modern and clean, with probably the best shower I’ve seen in a hotel/motel in some years, and the bed and linen fresh and comfortable. As this hotel is only 500m from our Auckland relatives it suited us very well, and we’ve already booked a return visit.

The property was clean, tidy and fresh. Everything was new which made me more comfortable. The mini dishwasher and access to washing machine was great added feature. rooms are massive for a family of 4

All my family events were in West Auckland so to be in Avondale was very convenient. The Facilities are very modern and near new. Laundry was very handy. Beds super comfortable and the space in the rooms are massive for a family of 4. We also booked a single room for my son and his wife and child and they too enjoyed the space, the comfort and modern facilities. Nice hot showers too was a bonus for us Queenslanders having to brave the Auckland cold!

Location was good, very close to shops and amenities, right outside the train station. Good food in the area, Bakery, Island food, great fish n chips and Indian restaurant near by with great butter chicken.

Absolutely everything! This place is fabulous, so funky with a great vibe. The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend staying here, the location is great, the beds are so comfortable like sleeping on air! Comfy and clean, chocolate fish was a nice touch. Modern, awesome shower. Surprisingly spacious. Well equipped kitchen with little dishwasher. Nice coffee and tea available. Warm. So close to trains to town so cheap way to town (9$ for family of four one way). Host on table gave ideas for food around the hotel. Security at door in evening. Seems newly fitted. Early checkin was made possible with no notice. Really quiet apartment style suite with very comfy beds.

Perfect for winter and we were placed in a courtyard access room which was brilliant for us to bring the dogs out. Had a great time staying here for a quick staycation. The room is clean and exactly how it looks like in the photos. The room was on the ground floor which had access to a small courtyard for our puppy to get some fresh air. Location was great and plenty of parking in the carpark. They organised some treats for us and our dog as well! Our puppy definitely enjoyed his first ever staycation :)
