We welcome you to Roomie Apartment Hotel booking website and hope you enjoy your experience but you must read and agree to these terms and conditions as they will apply to your use of our website and any bookings you make with us using our online booking application. Roomie Apartment hotel will accept your reservation subject to the following terms and conditions.
Roomie Apartment Hotel reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove sections of this website and these terms and conditions at any time without notice or liability. If you are a regular user of our online booking application we recommend that you check this website and these terms and conditions on a regular basis, as it is not the responsibility of Roomie Apartment Hotel to inform you of any changes and any future reservations you make will be made subject to the terms and conditions which apply at the time a booking is made.
When opting to buy the advance purchase reservations, 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged to your credit card at the time of making the reservation on the online booking website. The final amount shown to you for payment will be shown in New Zealand Dollars and will be charged to your credit card at this amount shown or converted to your local currency by your credit card company. Roomie Apartment Hotel is not responsible for currency conversion and therefore any questions regarding currency conversion must be directed to your credit card company.
All other reservations will require a valid credit card guarantee at the time of booking. However, no payment will be deducted from your credit card until your online or other check-in is completed, when in most cases a Pre-Authorisation will be taken from your card. All due payments for these bookings will be settled in full before the customer leaves the hotel.
In the event where the customer’s overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, the customer will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including commission on collection of the additional costs and also including legal demand costs.
The amount payable at the time of your stay and will be the same amount as shown when you made the booking, even if there have been fluctuations in your local currency from when you made the reservation to the time you are staying.
Credit card fees when you book and pay online or over the phone
When paying charges with your credit card, Roomie Apartment Hotel charges 3.15% of the full amount for credit card transaction fees.
Note: Some Special Promotional Hotel Deals and Rates require full payment up front with no cancellations or changes accepted – these are clearly stated on the terms and conditions page for each deal as applicable.
A cancellation charge may be imposed if you cancel all or part of your reservation at the Roomie Apartment Hotel or if you fail to do so. Cancellations may be made by contacting our hotel on email: firstname.lastname@example.org or Tel 0800 H E R E I A M (0800 437 3426) . You must cancel your reservation no less than 24 hours prior to 2pm on the day on which you are due to arrive to avoid a cancellation charge.
Roomie Apartment Hotel does not warrant or guarantee that all or any deposits or prepayments for goods or services that you may have ordered from any third party providers will be refunded, and will in no way be obligated to make up any shortfall. You must contact any third party providers and make your own arrangements with them.
If your requested room is unavailable, you are given the option to ‘Waitlist’ the room. Waitlisted reservations are not guaranteed and are not charged. If the room(s) you have waitlisted become available before the check-in date, you may be contacted to see if you would like to complete your reservation. In this case, more guests may be contacted than there are rooms available and so reservations will be accepted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
All reservations require a valid credit card guarantee at the time of booking. The guarantee ensures that your reservation will be held from 2pm on the day of arrival until 10am the following morning.
Advance purchase reservations are pre-paid, non-refundable, non-transferable and no date changes are permitted. No refund for any unused accommodation or portion thereof will be given.
Flexible rates guaranteed to a credit card, If you have not arrived at the Hotel by 10am the following day, a cancellation fee equivalent to the first nights’ accommodation for each room booked will be charged to your credit card.
Some Roomie Apartment Hotel reservations have an early departure penalty and some room rates may also require a minimum stay. You may change your check out date without penalty only if your rate and Roomie Apartment Hotels terms and conditions of your rate permit.
Roomie Apartment Hotel retains the right to cancel or relocate any bookings without notice.
Promotional Rate bookings have the following additional conditions. These conditions supersede any contradictory conditions in this document.
NO refund is available in the event of the cancellation of the reservation
Once confirmed, the reservation is NOT able to be changed
Roomie Apartment Hotel does not guarantee that rooms will be available on any date at any hotel.
Close-out dates may apply
New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all amounts shown and charged to your credit card. Roomie Apartment Hotel is required by New Zealand law to charge GST on all goods sold or used within New Zealand. The GST rate is 15% and subject to change without notice.
By using this website and paying for your reservation by credit card you represent and warrant that you are a minimum 18 years of age to use to use this site and create legal binding obligations for any liability incurred. You agree that you will be personally and financially responsible for the use of this website and for anyone you have supplied your login information to or who otherwise has access to or uses your login information.
Roomie Apartment Hotel has established limits on the number of rooms that are able to be booked over the Internet on a single date at any one hotel which accepts reservations via this website. This limit will be 5 rooms per hotel per booking date.
Should you wish to reserve more than 5 apartments at Roomie Apartment Hotel on any one date then you should contact the hotel directly on our contact numbers supplied or call the 0800 Number 0800 H E R E I A M
All rooms are sold on a twin share basis. There will be extra charges applicable if the number of adults in the room exceeds two. Up to two children stay for free provided they are 12 years of age or under, and are using existing bedding in the room. Cots are available free of charge for children under two years of age but linens are additional- please contact the hotel to confirm availability. Unless otherwise stated charges are for accommodation only and all other charges (such as for food and beverages and other hotel services) will be paid at the completion of your stay at a Roomie Apartment Hotel.
Check In Policy
Check in at all Roomie Apartment Hotel hotels is from 2pm New Zealand time on the day of arrival. You may purchase a 2 hour check in prior to 2pm, which is available to purchase on our website or our online check in process.
You will be required to provide either a credit card imprint at the time of check in as security for any extra charges you may incur while at the hotel. If you do not have a credit card available at check in then you will be required to provide a pre-Authorisation of your expected final balance upon issuance of your key access.
The person registering at Check In must be a minimum 18 years of age and at least one adult of 18 years or older staying in booked accommodation room(s).
Check Out Policy
Check out at all Roomie Apartment Hotel hotels is 10am New Zealand time on the day of departure. Late check out is permitted up to two hours and is chargeable. Please contact Reception for the current 2 hour Late Departure charges.. The hotels decision on any extension of check out time is final. Extra charges may apply for any extension to check out time at the discretion of the individual hotel.
Should you have provided a cash Security deposit on arrival, any unused cash deposit will be refunded to the user at check out.
Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children under the age of 12 years using existing bedding can stay at no additional charge in the room with guardians / parents.
Roomie Apartment Hotel will strive to honour any request for specific rooms types or bed types and will confirm such arrangements at the time you make your reservation. Until specific confirmation is issued by Roomie Apartment Hotel then your request cannot be guaranteed.
Roomie Apartment Hotel have pet friendly apartments and you can book directly with us. Our specific Pet Policy applies that requires you to be responsible for and damage or cleaning requirement. This may include the holding deposit to be non- refunded.
By using this website you consent to be added to the Roomie Apartment Hotel business records, and will from time to time receive emails, newsletters and offers of Specials and Packages available at Roomie Apartment Hotel. You may request your name be removed from these records by contacting our 0800 HEREIAM number or directly on our contact numbers supplied or by applying in writing to our postal address. This will stop Sales and Marketing information being sent to you. Roomie Apartment Hotel will not sell or distribute any of these records to any third party, other than when you order goods or services from a third party provider.

Errors and Omissions
Any reservation made on the Roomie Apartment Hotel online booking website is made at your own risk. As you are entering information directly into the Hotel reservations system, all information entered by you will be assumed to be correct and final. Any errors or omissions will be the responsibility of the person entering any information into our online system. Roomie Apartment Hotel will not be held responsible nor will Roomie Apartment Hotel accept any financial liability for any errors or omissions in the information provided.
Disclaimers, Liability Policy and Damage
The use of this website is at your own risk. Roomie Apartment Hotel does not warrant that the website will operate error-free or that this web site and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful material. If you use this website and your equipment is in need of servicing or replacement or if you lose data or experience any problems, Roomie Apartment Hotel will accept no responsibility or liability for any damage, losses and costs you may suffer or incur in any circumstances.
In no event or circumstances shall Roomie Apartment Hotel be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with the use of this website or with the delay or inability to use this website, or for any information, software products, and services obtained through this website, or otherwise arising out of the use of this website, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, even though Roomie Apartment Hotel, its affiliates and or any of their suppliers have been advised of the possibility of damages.

This Roomie Apartment Hotel website and various component parts, including these Booking Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of New Zealand and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.

Definitions and Interpretation
“Roomie Apartment Hotel” means AM Apartment Hotel Limited and its subsidiary companies.

Roomie Apartment Hotel reserves the right to change these Booking Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. Any future reservations you may make will be made subject to the terms and conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the terms and conditions carefully on each occasion you wish to make a reservation and prior to making the reservation.
Standard reservations: Cancellations received after 2pm local hotel time the day prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal in value to the amount of the 1st-night accommodation charge.
No Show reservations will be charged the first-night accommodation charge. No Show Reservations will have any remaining nights booked cancelled
Advance Purchase Reservations: Non-Refundable reservation type. Full payment is processed at the time of reservation. No cancellations or refunds are accepted on these reservations.
Other specific cancellation and Penalty clauses may apply and are outlined in the reservation details. These are subject to change without notification.
Roomie Apartment Hotel is required to collect personal information about each individual making a reservation through our online booking application. We understand that the collection and safety of the information once collected is important to you and want to ensure you that that information is collected in a secure manner and retained securely once held by AM Apartment Hotel
Roomie Apartments is bound by the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993.

Roomie Apartment Hotel is a new brand of apartment style hotels owned by Kiwi’s with a passion for hospitality. .
Why do we collect information from you?
We need personal information from you in order to provide you with the services you require following your arrival at one of our Roomie Apartment Hotels.
By booking online with us, you agree to provide the personal information we require and, if you order goods or services via our website from third party providers, you also agree to us providing that information to the third party provider of the goods or services.
We will retain information that you provide within the Roomie Apartment Hotel to ensure you are able to enjoy the benefits when you make return visits to our hotels. This information will not be sold or supplied to a third party, other than when you order goods or services from a third party provider, such as activities through our online booking service. You will be asked to provide information including, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, and your credit card number. Your credit card number will be transmitted and held within a secure environment (refer to the Payment System section below).

If you do not supply Roomie Apartment Hotel with the basic information we require, then we will be unable to accept your reservation. Further, if you wish to order goods or services from third party providers, then those providers will not accept your order and will not be required to provide the goods or services.
All Credit Card payments are processed through the secure Payment Express system. All credit card details are tokenised and no credit card information is ever sent to Roomime Apartment Hotel. All payments are processed via the Payment Express system using secure tokens. No credit card information is stored by us and all of our customer databases are PCI compliant.
Roomie Apartment Hotel complies fully with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. We will not share, sell, rent, swap or authorize any third party to use your e-mail address without your permission. If you feel you have received an e-mail from us in error, please email@example.com.
If you have “opted-in” to receiving promotional information from Roomie Apartment Hotel, from time to time, we may e-mail you information about products and services which may be of interest to you. If you no longer wish to receive a specific newsletter, follow the “unsubscribe” instructions located near the bottom of each newsletter.
